The Dynamik Haven
A Haven is a home for a community. A private space — often commercial, sometimes
simply someone's residence — with walls, doors, and a transition space you pass through on your way in
and decompress through on your way out. It holds ten or more people, meets regularly, and can host
Dynamik gatherings of every kind. It's the most permanent of the Dynamik Spaces: the one that can truly
last.
What makes a Haven a Haven
- A steward who holds it. No steward, no Haven — someone is always tending the room and the people in it.
- A transition space. You're always welcomed in through a vestibule, never dropped straight into the middle.
- Room for ten or more. Anything smaller and more casual is a Den.
- A regular rhythm. A Haven meets often enough to become a place you can count on.
What happens here
- Any Dynamik gathering — mushes, jams, socials, salons, practices, feasts, ceremonies and more, in whatever state each one calls for.
- Whatever the community grows into — a Haven flexes to what its people need.
